Jobsite Safety Orientation
Every person who steps onto an Eternity Builders jobsite must complete this orientation. No exceptions. We protect our people because people are more valuable than any project.
Procedure Steps
Follow each step in order. If something does not apply to the current situation, note it and move to the next step. If you find a better way, bring it to your group leader so we can improve the procedure for everyone.
Verify the individual has valid identification and any required certifications before they enter the jobsite.
Walk them through the site-specific safety plan, including emergency exits, assembly points, and first aid station locations.
Review all required PPE for the specific jobsite. Ensure they have the right gear and it fits properly.
Explain the hazard communication system: how hazards are identified, marked, and communicated on this site.
Walk the individual through the active work zones, pointing out current hazards and restricted areas.
Review the incident reporting procedure. Make it clear: we report everything, no matter how small. No one gets in trouble for reporting.
Have them sign the safety acknowledgment form. File it immediately — do not let paperwork pile up.
Assign them a safety buddy for their first day. No one works alone until they know the site.
