Procedure Steps

Follow each step in order. If something does not apply to the current situation, note it and move to the next step. If you find a better way, bring it to your group leader so we can improve the procedure for everyone.

1

Send a welcome message before their first day. Include what to expect, where to go, and who to ask for. First impressions matter.

2

Prepare their workspace, tools, PPE, and any required documentation before they arrive. They should feel expected, not like an afterthought.

3

Introduce them to the team personally. Not just names — tell them what each person does and why they matter to the operation.

4

Walk them through the Eternity Builders mission, values, and culture. This is not a formality — it is the most important part of onboarding.

5

Complete all required paperwork: employment forms, tax documents, benefits enrollment, emergency contacts. Handle it efficiently so they can get to the real work.

6

Conduct the jobsite safety orientation (SOP-001) before they do any work. Safety is not optional for anyone.

7

Assign them a mentor or buddy for their first 30 days. Someone who can answer questions, show them the ropes, and make them feel at home.

8

Schedule a 30-day check-in with the Pulse Keeper. Ask how they are doing, what they need, and whether the job matches what they expected.

9

Schedule a 90-day review to assess fit, performance, and growth potential. Be honest and encouraging.
